In the 80s’, Brazil launched its most famous promotion: Prize on the stick, which gave a free ice cream for those who found the message in their popsicle stick.
The promotion was so memorable that all Brazilians still check their popsicle sticks to this day. To launch KFC ice cream we brought that promotion back, but with a twist: instead of engraving the message “You have won one Ice Cream” on the popsicle stick, we engraved on the bones of our fried chicken drums. And we discovered that nostalgia sells shitloads of ice creams.
